Glen Cove’s history for future generations, from oral histories and family photographs to municipal milestones, using new technology applications for access via digital and social media channels.


Optimism and an appreciation of the City’g growth and evolution through participation and multi-faceted engagement in historic, educational, social and cultural events and activities.


A year-long series of programs, exhibits, learning activities, special events and initiatives to showcase the City of Glen Cove and encourage widespread participation.


Opportunities to raise funds to support and underwrite all GC350 programs through a robust sponsorship and marketing outreach campaign.


All Glen Cove 350 fundraising activities benefit the community with the goal to underwrite events and activities open to the public to celebrate the city’s milestones. All financial activities are tracked, audited and monitored in conjunction with the Finance office and oversight from the Mayor’s office, Deputy Mayor Barbara Peebles designated Treasurer. A new bank account was set up for all deposits and expenses related to Glen Cove 350 materials. A Council resolution was presented and authorized on January 24, 2017, allowing the City to transfer $20,000 as startup funds. This will be repaid through the proceeds of sponsorships and fundraising events.

Once the financial reports are complete any net proceeds will be dedicated to the city celebrations fund for community benefit.
